What a wonderfully made and beautiful Bible. The leather feels soft to the touch. The print is crisp . Another gem from Church Bible Publishers!

In addition to my previous review on this bible, I am giving it a five star.

The shipping took some time, but it was well worth the wait. I cannot say enough good things about this bible; the finest workmanship and quality.
One drawback, I was expecting the font to be a bit bigger, but the brightness and the crispness of the words makes up for it.
I have five other genuine leather bible and this is the finest by far; built like my volvo car or a tank. My forever bible.
Thank you CBP for your mission to feed God’s flock with the word of God.
    Blessings always

Just bought this Bible about 4 months ago and am absolutely in awe of the kind of craftsmanship goes into these bibles. Everything front the smyth sewn pages to the cowhide liner and the pages. The waterbuffalo leather cover is the icing on the cake. Loved it so much I bought their handsize milk chocolate one with the full yapp.

After having and using this Bible for about 2 months I decided it was time to give it a review. First of all, I am a huge fan of the “Turquoise” font and text block, which is my favorite KJV layout! In addition to this new Large Print Readers edition I also have an older black-letter midsize CBP Turquoise in black ironed calfskin (which includes the dictionary), and then I also have a Cambridge Turquoise red-letter in goatskin.

I really love everything about the Cambridge Turquoise…..except the paper! It has the cleanest, crispest type with virtually no ghosting of any Turquoise text block I’ve ever seen and is just a pleasure to read, however the paper is so thin it is beyond frustrating to try to turn the pages. And having a fair amount of hand tremor the thin pages are sadly a deal breaker for the Cambridge for me. But the two CBP Bibles I have use thicker paper than the Cambridge and the CBP paper does not stick together like the slick Cambridge paper, thus making the CBP pages much easier to turn.

Another reason I ended up going with a CBP LPRE (Large Print Reader’s Edition) is that it included the Concise Bible Dictionary in the back. I absolutely love this dictionary and love having it “always with me” in my Bible as I refer to it often and the depth and breadth of helpful study aids it includes are amazing! And the maps are very nice and indexed as well. And the extra Notes pages in the back are great to add lots of personalized sticky notes. And of course I love the inclusion of the Translators to the Readers in the front — a must for a good KJV!

The 12 point font is very readable for long sessions, and would be ideal for preaching from the pulpit! And the larger font also makes the references much clearer and easier to read as well. Now the LPRE text does have a minimal amount of ghosting but that’s probably to be expected since the print is so large and dark, the whole purpose of this edition. For me the ghosting is not a deal breaker at all and it has become less noticeable the more I read it. All this makes for a pretty big text block but overall it is still not too large for me to carry to church if I want to.

AA Leather has done an outstanding job on the binding and workmanship of this Bible. Mine is flawless in all respects and is the most beautiful and unique binding that I own. I love the grain and texture of the Water Buffalo Cover as well as the Cowhide Liner! I much prefer this binding over the Cambridge Goatskin!

So, now I want to get a CBP Hand Size Turquoise to go with my LPRE!!!
