Our Goatskin leather covers lined with calfskin leather have a beautiful, soft, and supple feel. The texture of this leather is completely natural and full of its own character which varies from cover to cover. Each goatskin cover is unique and can have varying looks and textures in the individual leather piece. Many of the natural characteristics seen in these covers have a distressed appearance that will in no way effect the durability or quality of the Bible cover.

    This is a very fine Bible! I have several premium quality Bibles from other sources that were much more expensive and this one from CBP is right up there and for a lot less money. The goatskin cover has a beautiful fine grain to it that feels great in the hand. It’s soft but not overly “floppy”. It doesn’t feel like it’s going to roll out of your hand like some others do. It has a generous yapp (almost a semi-full) and the edge gilding is perfect: evenly applied, no splotches. A concordance and numerous maps are a must for me and this has both plus a Bible dictionary. The map index is a big plus. While I haven’t examined every page, the print is dark and appears to be consistent throughout. I’m especially pleased that the red words of Jesus are a nice dark red and not pale pink as in some Bibles. Perimeter stitching, raised spine hubs and the three gold ribbons all add to the exquisite character of this lovely Bible. I couldn’t be happier!

    Today, just in time for Easter, I received the midsize goatskin turquoise font Bible. My first one was purchased in the 70’s, but it was not red letter nor did it have the dictionary. This one has both. I love the font due to its boldness & this has always been my favorite go to KJV. I have several other Church bible of extraordinary quality and am glad to report the quality remains superb. This lovely goatskin of milk chocolate color will be used for the first time tomorrow as I preach on the resurrection. Let me also give a shout out to church Bible publishers for emailing me daily with updates on shipping. Great Bible and great people! I’m in love with the quality of their bibles. Certainly as high as Allan, Cambridge, Schuyler, & others. And I have them all.

    Exquisite, beautifully done, The goatskin leather is beautiful, stitching is very well done and evenly spaced, 3 beautiful ribbons, the guilding is very good, has a concordance, dictionary and maps. Large print and the paper is very good with very little ghosting and it is red letter.

    A mid-sized large print reader’s edition (KJV), turquoise text layout, goatskin leather, calfskin lined. Dictionary, concordance, map index to 15 maps. Nothing comes close to what this Bible offers. It could easily cost $200-$250 and still be outstanding. Unbelievable.

    I have purchased 5 Bibles from CBP. Two are yet to arrive, but I have two of the Ironed Calfskin and this edition in goatskin. The goatskin is thick and hard, but feels tough as nails and durable. It isn’t supple like other goatskin I’ve felt, but I like the look and feel of this particular cut of leather. The ribbons are beautiful and match the Bible. They are thin, but long. The gold gilding is the best I’ve ever seen. No train tracks and it actually sparkles. The text itself is 12 point with some ghosting, but not much. The red letter is mostly consistent and dark. It has a lot of center column references that are placed next to the verse, which makes finding them SO much easier than other Bibles I own. The Concordance is almost 200 pages long, which is insane. The Bible Dictionary in the back is also lengthy and extremely helpful in study. The map index and maps are the best I’ve seen in a Bible. This is edge-lined and Smyth-sewn.

    I love this bible, it’s a pleasure to hold and read the clear large print. I like the dark brown color of the goatskin, and how it feels. I also like how durable the goatskin is, knowing it will look nice for a long time. I don’t like external bible covers. There is also some room around the boarders for notes.

    Not as large as I tought
    Which is good, bold print.
    Goat skin is very soft but durable love the center colum cross reference great for studying. very happy I ordered it. plan on many years of use.

    Received my goat skin KJV Bible from CBP today. I was instantly impressed with the workmanship. I fully expect it to last a lifetime. Print is crisp and dark, included dictionary is extensive. This Bible has the highest quality and quantity maps I’ve ever seen. Noticed that the goat skin blemishes more easily than other cover materials, especially if brushed against a hard object but that just adds character in my opinion. This will become my primary Bible to preach from so it will get a lot of use. God bless your ministry and thank you for your work in producing good quality KJV Bibles.

    This Bible is absolutely Beautiful, and Perfect in every way. The Goatskin is very smooth and folds easy at the touch. The grain is excellent to behold, But aside with all that the text of this Bible is what makes it stand out. The boldness of the print is excellent all through out the bible. It is excellent for people that want a large font that have weak eyes. And let me say and not forget this is the true word of God. Pure Cambridge Edition all the way!!!
