    This bible is very nice, the paper, gilding, print, layout, and concordance, maps, and dictionary in the back are great. The corners are well done and the inner liner (although stated as synthetic) seems to me to be leather and very nice. I gave three stars because of the Ironed calfskin cover. In the picture on this site it looks like a nice leather cover with a beautiful shine, but mine has more of a satin or matte sheen to it, and there are wrinkles on the spine and back that go beyond what I would consider being a beauty mark of the leather to be more what I would call a flaw or defect. The color on mine is more red tinted than brown in the picture to a point where none of the beautiful color of the leather comes through. The matte sheen and off center ridges really are not pretty and if I could I would pick a different bible and avoid the Ironed calfskin cover in burgundy. To sum it up this bible is very nice as far as function goes, but the cover is not the pretty one in the picture and honestly I think it is a bit ugly. So while I will be using it as my KJV go to ,it will not be something I enjoy the look and feel of.

    What a lovely Bible! I agree with everything the reviewer “Rhonda” wrote. The references are not copious, but they are exactly what I need. And, they are directly beside the verse they connect to–what a nice feature. It is interesting how each chapter of both the OT and the NT are numbered consectutively, connecting both Testaments as one complete revelation from the Lord. The concordance, dictionary, and maps in the back are very nice. I like how the ribbon color matches the cover color; this keeps them from screaming out for attention. Thank you, CBP, for keeping this Bible in print. With the quality of materials and construction it will last for many years. God bless you!

    This Bible is absolutely beautiful, the guilding is perfect, stitching is beautifully done, the paper is great no ghosting, the ribbons are long enough to use and very pretty. The print is very well done. I absolutely love this Bible. I will use this for a long time to come.
