    I absolutely adore this Bible! I personally own three CBP Bibles, plus I have bought them for my children and grandchildren, and also pew Bibles for my church. There are simply no better Bibles.
    I have a CBP Bible for study. I write in that one freely and colorfully. I have another for church. That one gets underlined in and carried about. But THIS one … This is my Love Bible. I keep it on my nightstand. I do not write in it. It will stay clean and available for anything God wishes to show me. I read it every night. This is the Bible I will grab in an emergency.
    I adore the full yapp. It feels great in my hands. It reminds me of my first Bible, passed down from my grandfather. A lovely classic feel to it. The print is perfect. I have no issues at all with glare, as the earlier reviewer mentioned. It’s clear and clean and perfect. Also, although this is Large Print, the Bible itself is thinner than my other Large Print CBP Bibles. Easy to hold. Yet it still has all the goodies. That cool Translators’ Preface to the Readers. Gorgeous Maps. Even a Concordance. Yes, this is the perfect Bible.

    I guess I’m the first to review this bible. I purchased this version because of the leather, full yap, and large print. Everything about this bible is great…except that the print is shiny and has a glare in the light. So far, every light source and reading position exhibits this glare. I have to hold the book or my head at an uncomfortable angle to read it, but that’s just me. Your experience may be totally different than mine. That being said, I wouldn’t dream of complaining or returning this bible. Just being honest with my review. CBP does a great job with this binding and they bear no fault in the text block glare, as they only bind what is sent to them. If not for the glare, this would be a five star review. It’s a five star bible, hands down.

    Please don’t let my subjective comments deter you from purchasing one of these books. After all, they’re already out of stock; someone apparent likes them besides me! Thanks, CBP for making such great bibles available to the general public. As I write this, this version is currently out of stock now. I must have gotten one of the first runs.

    I’m waiting for the Thompson Chain Reference version in this binding to come back into inventory so I can purchase one of those, too. My fingers are crossed in hopes of a glare-free text block.

    Get on YouTube and watch some video reviews of these bibles. There are so many that I don’t think I could do the book justice compared to what I’ve viewed already.
