   To start with, the Bible was shipped and arrived in less than a week. The size of this Bible is slightly smaller than I imagined but it fits well in my hands. It seems like I remember a version of this Bible that had a 1-1/2” margin on the bottom. I’m used to my Cambridge presentation but I’m sure I’ll adapt quite well to this new size. The cover is a mid blue and is very flexible and soft to the touch. The cover has edge stitching and is Smyth sewn which should ensure years of wear and tear. The ribbon markers are a deep blue and go well with the cover. The text block will take some getting used too as my eyes are not as good as they used to be and I have to wear reading glasses. I will say this about the text though, it is crisp (well pronounced) and the word/line spacing are adequate to keep the text from getting muddled while reading. The center column reference is a nice feature when you are studying and need to compare scriptures (line upon line, precept upon precept). Words of Christ are in a mid red, a little darker would have been preferable, but still adequate for ease of reading. I used to be in the camp of black text only, because the whole Word of God is Christ, but have accepted the fact that the red text doesn’t diminish this fact only points out His Words in his Earthly ministry. Moving onto the maps. The maps are full vibrant colors and easy to read the texts of the pages. They are very helpful to those that are unfamiliar with the territories of the Bible throughout the journey of Israel. I gave this Bible a 5 stars for these reasons.

   I wasn’t sure if I was going to like the blue ironed calf skin. But as soon as I laid my eyes and hands on it I was so glad that I didn’t choose the burgundy cover instead. While the generous wide margins perfectly frame the regal Cameo format, the stately blue ironed calf skin loans prestige to it. Its mid size makes the Wide Margin Cameo the perfect on-the-go Bible.

   Although there are excellent publishers who do a great job promoting the more modern versions of the scriptures, I am soooooo grateful for CBP’s faithful diligence in promoting and honoring the authorized KJV. And in lovingly and skillfully dignifying this kingly version with beautiful quality Bibles such as this one. Thank you and God bless.

   This is the one. This is the Bible you are looking for. I own 28 Bibles, including Cambridge, Schuyler, and Premier Collections. Of all my Bibles, this one is the best all around option, and my “daily driver.”

   The size of the Bible is perfect–super portable, yet not too small. It is the right size for reading in a chair or laid out on a desk. The print is very bold and EXTREMELY easy to read, even over long periods of time. The red letter is nice and dark. The evenly spaced 1 inch margins on all sides is perfect for reading and note taking (in my opinion, better than the smaller inner margins and wider outer margins).

   The color is super cool and unique. I love the ironed calf skin much more than I expected, and the silver over grey art gilding is awesome–especially combined with the blue cover. It’s a great silver-line. The silver print on the spine with the raised ribs is great too.

   They pulled off the “perfect storm” on this one. I don’t know how it is possible to make a small Bible with extremely readable text, AND wide margins and references. I don’t know how they did that.

   You can tell this Bible is going to last years and years, when you hold it in your hands–very solid. This is treasure for the price.

   Buy it.
