Raymond J. Swartz II –
I purchased this Bible about 3 months ago. This is my favorite Bible, by far!
It is near perfect in every way.
The leather, the weight, the size, the text size. I love the fact that the column goes perfectly next to the edge which allows the 12 point font to be the easiest reading. Two column is a classic style that does not fail. Verse by verse, of course!
The calf skin leather is beyond smooth but a firm grip is on the Bible.
When you open it and hold it in one hand the spinee gives you the grip to affirm, it’s not going anywhere if you move with it.
The maps are clear and fun to use to read where Paul went and journeyed.
I am truly wanting this exact Bible with just the New Testament, psalms, proverbs and maps.
Because families are diverse and moved around, I would like to not have the marriages, and dedication pages.
I would love to see a cover page of CBP that has a fancy art showing the old style of Bible.
I switched out the ribbons. They were definitely professional installed. I placed 5, 3/8th colorful ribbons, 4 inches off the bottom of the book, that just splash off the old classic black leather and gold gilding! I love the red letter.
The fact that it reads AUTHORIZED KING JAMES on the spine makes me so happy. Clean and simple.
If they made this exact Bible in New Testament with different colors, I would be compelled to buy all the variations.
I’m already thinking of buying another in the exact same style. This Bible is hard to find. Simple, clean and to the point!
Thank you Church Bible publishers for keeping a time honored tradition alive.
I hope all your stock runs out and have to keep up with new orders.
