   Best Bible I’ve ever owned. The full yap protects the mini tabs I installed from wearing out prematurely. Very well made unlike the Bible’s you buy over the counter (stores). Very blessed for the privilege of owning one of these. Wish I would’ve came across one sooner as the prices have went up significantly. Worth every dollar and very happy with my new Bible. Bless all you at CBP that make these Bibles possible for everyone to have.

   My 4th Church Bible arrived today, the platinum handsize text in rich gorgeous water buffalo milk chocolate leather….the Bible is wonderful. The leather n construction could not be better. The 10 pt text is so readable and the paper shows very little ghosting. This Bible is a work of art and will easy rival bibles from Allen n Schuyler at a price point CONSIDERABLY less. It is just a magnificent offering from CBP.

   The second I pulled my new Bible from the box and unpacked it I was very impressed, both by the look and feel of this Milk Chocolate water Buffalo and how well it is made. I just wanted to hug it all day! It seems to be very durable in addition to being beautiful. The text block is very easy to read. The Concordance seems to be very in depth, and also easy to read. I do own goatskin, lambskin (from CBP) and ironed calfskin Bibles, but this one will be one I take from the shelf everyday. I do agree the full yapp takes a little getting used to simply because it needs to be “trained” to fold down. It will get there. James 4:8

   I love this Bible! I’ve had it for a few days, and I held off on writing a review until I used it some, which I’m glad I did, because my opinion changed. At first I was a little underwhelmed. I thought the text format was stale, the leather was stiff, and the yapps were too big for my hands to comfortably find a way to hold. But within the first few hours my opinion changed. The text format is nostalgic and pleasing to read (perhaps that’s why Bibles stayed that way for so long). Many modern formats, like paragraphs or modern fonts, aren’t as easy to read or as pretty to look at. The leather is no long feels stiff to me (it is the first good Bible I’ve owned, and hopefully the last, and I guess I expected goatskin that rolls up like a piece of paper in the videos I’ve watched). The leather feels durable and the natural texture is lovely and feels good in your hands. I had to get used to the yapps because they are rather large. I just hold the Bible in different ways than I used to and it doesnt bother me. They are beautifully unique and will protect the pages from wear. Already they’ve protected the pages from a curious dog nose and an accidental splash of tea.

   This was well worth the money. I got a beautiful, presumably long-lasting Bible, and I supported a Christian ministry and a United States business, rather than China, which persecutes and stifles Christians, and rather than a money-focused company such as Cambridge or Schuyler. I recommend these Bibles to all, and will gift them to people in the future, Lord willing.
