I couldn’t be more please with my new Bible! It was given to me as a gift and have been enjoying it daily.
As if getting a hand-made Bible isn’t enough, the fact that it’s MADE IN TEXAS is a huge bonus! I am so grateful this church continued on with carrying this torch of making Bible. Thank you!
It is beautiful and so soft. It lays flat making it easy to read, study and write in. And I really appreciate Jesus’ words in red, too, making studying much more straight forward so I can zoom in on the words He spoke as I read.
I also am so glad they offered this in a Notetakers version. The super-wide margins are so helpful and useful. When studying the Word, I look up a lot of the words in the Hebrew and Greek and write the notes out in my Bible to “color” it with brighter and deeper meaning. But even with the extra wide margins and 11pt font, the Bible still carries well and is not over-sized.
God’s Word is perfect and infallible, yet Church Bible Publishers seems to have “improved” it (or at least made its presentation very pleasing) by placing the text in such beautiful packaging. It is truly a labor of love. Have you ever compared a rose from a discount store with one from a nice flower shop? It’s night and day the quality and beauty of rose you receive, and how much longer it lasts. And so it is with the Bibles from these wonderful people. Yes, Bibles plural… this is our third new Bible in our household in the past few months from CBP.
“The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.” Psalm 68:11
If this verse was for anyone, it was written for Church Bible Publishers.
Thank you for all you are doing!
